Thanks for stopping by my Web site. I’m Daria Steigman, founder of Steigman Communications. I’m a business and marketing strategist, and a writer, and I work with companies, associations, and international organizations to put in place smart communications strategies to support your goals and objectives.

About Daria Steigman

I am an entrepreneur, business owner, and writer. In addition to my core business, I’m passionate about helping small business owners with starting up and staying the course.

I’m the author of a column for IABC’s CW Bulletin and a blog–both of which focus on the business of running a business, entrepreneurship, communications, social media, strategic thinking, and what I call Independent Thinking. I’m also a contributor to Workshifting.com.

I’m a past president of the Washington chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago, and masters’ degrees in industrial and labor relations (MILR) from Cornell University and liberal studies (MALS) from Georgetown University. I wrote a book of poems as part of my MALS thesis.

In my spare time, I love to hike and run half-marathons. And I’m a huge baseball fan.
