Small Business Trends has pulled together a new e-book, and it’s chock full of simple ideas to help your business stand out.

Innovative Marketing Tips to Make Your Business Sizzle contains over 100 separate tips, many in the areas of Web design, video, photography, and print media. While some are more useful than others (e.g., I’m not a fan of selfie sticks), chances are you’ll find pieces of data to intrigue you and ideas that you can put to use. Several of the photography tips gave me ideas to play with, such as using thumbnails (i.e., you don’t always have to go big) and adding texture to create more “shareworthy” images.

Here’s an image from a tip by John Jantsch about relevance:

And another from Sheila Johnson about wowing your customers:

Brandied Thank You Notes

There’s also a tip from me in the e-book (page 36) about using visual content to cut through the clutter. If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you’ve likely seen the accompanying image here.

The feature photo accompanies a tip in the e-book by Susan Gunelias on pairing visual content with words to add context.
