Brainwidth

by Daria Steigman on January 14, 2013

Red Bulb with Tentacles We all know about bandwidth–the bytes, space, and time needed to get something done. If bandwidth is about physical capacity, brainwidth is about mental space.

You need to have both bandwidth and brainwidth.

I recently had some family stuff going on that sucked up much of my energy. I had time to work, but my brain wasn’t cooperating. The day-to-day tasks got done, but the creative elements of my business (including blogging) were put aside.

Cut yourself a break the next time you’re struggling with a project. Maybe you just need more brainwidth.

100% agreed. I cannot write my posts mechanically. I have to let my brain sit idle for sometimes and then gain focus on particular topic. To get the brain creative, idling is a must :)
