My problem with the Susan Komen Race was the number of TV ads that ran for weeks before the event. How much money did they spend trying to entice runners? I do not want to see my money spent on television ads rather than research.
Mom — And the D.C. race STILL hasn’t happened. I agree completely. There’s a big perception (a reality?) that the race fees are doing little but covering massive radio and TV ad buys.
