Hi Carole,

While I am sympathetic to your problem, I don’t think crowdfunding is a viable model for your nonprofit. Crowdfunding would seem to be best suited to products or services where people have an identified, unmet need and are willing to help pay for the research and development. Your challenge is the more traditional one of making the case for people to support an existing entity.

Good luck with your fundraising campaign!

Best,
Daria

We have been challenged to match $50,000 toward our 501 c3 rescue, Coalition for Animal Rescue and Education. Our rescue is located in one of the poorest regions of Missouri. The major businesses in our area is Meth Labs and Puppy Mills. We need to match this contribution. How can I ask folks who love animals to help us?
